“Eebee’s Adventures”
The title puppet in the Eebee’s Adventures series is one odd-looking little baby. He’s a colorful little guy with a purple foot, a red foot and Medusa-esque, multi-hued hair. And my kids are mesmerized by him.
The “All in a Day’s Play” DVD is, like eebee himself, full of bright colors. There isn’t so much of a storyline in this one; it’s a series of segments showing the puppet and other babies playing with their parents using items around the house.
“All in a Day’s Play” is entertaining for the little guys, but I think it would be a great baby shower gift for new parents to watch before the bundle of joy’s arrival. Everything in a baby’s world is new and exciting, and this DVD is a great guide to sharing the most ordinary moments in a fun way.
Those new parents wouldn’t necessarily get as much out of Eebee’s “eebee’s Laundry Time Adventures,” but it’ll be a big hit with the offspring. The book’s soft pages are all interactive, from putting the towels into the washing machine to making the washer swish about to hanging up the laundry. Graham still hasn’t mastered all of the activities in the book, but he loves to turn the pages and look at the pictures. And if he decides to gnaw on a page? It’s cloth. No big deal.
Eebee may be a weird-looking baby, but the kid knows how to play. And the people making his DVDs and books know how to entertain a baby.
